Summit County is located in northeastern Utah, occupying a rugged and
mountainous area. As of 2000 the population was 29,736 and by 2004 was
estimated at 33,843. It was so named because it includes 39 of the
highest mountain peaks in Utah. Its county seat is Coalville and the
largest city is Park City. a well known ski-resort. Median 2000 home
