Morgan County is located in northern central Utah. As of 2000 the
population was 7,128, and by 2004 had been estimated at 7,614. It was
named for Jedediah Morgan Grant, father of Heber J. Grant, who served as
president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Its county
seat and largest city is Morgan. Median 2000 home value listed at
