Kane County is located in southern Utah. As of 2000 the population was
6,046, and by 2004 had been estimated at 6,178. Named for Col. Thomas L.
Kane, a friend of the Mormon settlers, the county seat and largest city
is Kanab. Median home price in 2000 was $103,900.
