Carbon County is located in eastern central
Utah. As of 2000 the population was 20,420, and by 2004 had been
estimated to decrease to 19,689. It was named for the coal deposits in
the area. The county seat and largest city is Price. Median home value
in Carbon county was 86,100 (2000).
