Box Elder County is a located in the
northwestern corner of Utah. It lies on the north end of the Great Salt
Lake, covering a large area north to the Idaho border and west to the
Nevada border. This co. includes large areas of barren desert, and high,
forested mountains. The Wasatch Front lies along the south-eastern
border, where the main cities are found. 2000 Census population was
42,745. Towns in Box Elder county include BearRiver, Brigham City,
Corinne, Deweyville. Fielding, Garland, Grouse Creek, Honeyville,
Howell, Mantua, Perry, Plymouth. Portage, Snowville, Tremonton, and
Willard.
